How to Apply to the LPN Nursing Program

Important: Applying to Riverland and applying to the Nursing Program are two separate steps. You must complete both.

Once you're admitted to Riverland, you can apply directly to the LPN Program. Applications are tied to specific cohort start dates. See current openings below.

Get Ready While You Wait

Applications are currently closed, but you can use this time to complete the required steps so you're ready to apply as soon as the window opens.

1. Complete the Health Science Reasoning Test (HSRT)
You must take this test in person at a Riverland campus and score 70% or higher. Learn more about the HSRT.

2. Be active on the CNA registry

Important: You must be listed on the CNA registry, from any state, before the program begins. This takes time to complete, so start this process early. Documentation must be submitted with your application.
