Radiography Licensing and Credentialing Requirements: 星空无限传媒 and Other States

State of 星空无限传媒 Statute 144.121, subd. 5 states, a) An individual in a facility with x-ray systems for use on living humans that is registered under subdivision 1 may not operate, nor may the facility allow the individual to operate, x-ray systems unless the individual has passed a national or state examination.

(b) Individuals who may operate x-ray systems include:

(1) an individual who has passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry for radiography examination.

According to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), one must meet the education and ethics requirements before being eligible to take the credentialing exam.

In order to meet the education and ethical requirements you must have:

Earned an associate's degree or higher

  • Completed an ARRT-approved educational program in the same discipline as the credential you are pursuing
  • you must demonstrate good moral character.

The Radiography Program at Riverland Community College is an ARRT-approved education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), where you will earn an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree at the successful completion of the program. This degree, along with meeting the ethics requirements, allows one to take the ARRT Credentialing Exam required by the State of 星空无限传媒 to operate ionizing radiation equipment.

Alabama, Washington D.C., Missouri, South Dakota, and Georgia do not require a license.
