Scott Richardson
Scott Richardson graduated from Austin Central High School in 1965 and began his college education at Austin Junior College, now Riverland, earning an associate degree in 1967. He continued at the University of 星空无限传媒, graduating in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in history.
Richardson served two years in the United States Army as a correctional officer at Fort Riley, Kansas.
He earned his law degree from the University of 星空无限传媒 in 1974 and has practiced law in Austin since that time. He is also admitted to practice in the 星空无限传媒 federal district courts.
Scott and his wife, Cathy, were married in 1969. She is a social worker in the Austin School District. They have two children.
He is active in the community and is a member of St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, the Austin Noon Lions Club, the US Bank Advisory Board, the Austin Community Scholarship Foundation, and local and state bar associations.

Richardson has also served on the Austin Community College Scholarship Foundation, Saint Augustine’s Parish Council, the 10th District Lawyer’s Ethics and Disciplinary Committee, the Legal Services Advisory Committee, and the Austin Junior College Student Council.
Scott and his wife were part of the first class to attend the Riverland campus. Their first year was held at Austin High School, and their second year took place at the newly established campus.
